Job summary

PTT Synergy Group Berhad is seeking aMaintenance Manager-level professional in Penang to oversee preventative and corrective maintenance for ASRS systems. You will lead technicians, perform root cause analysis, and ensure safety and SLA compliance while maintaining equipment and parts inventories.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and willingness to work in Penang.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in similar maintenance field.
• Hands-on ASRS equipment maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing daily preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain maintenance schedules for ASRS equipment and building facilities; manage spare parts inventory; keep records up to date.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
• Lead technicians in delivering maintenance services per SLA, including incident escalation and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of daily Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance activities.
• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify the underlying causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain maintenance schedules for ASRS equipment and building facilities, manage spare parts inventory, and ensure equipment maintenance records are kept up to date.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
• Lead the technician team in delivering all maintenance services in accordance with the customer's Service Level Agreement (SLA), including timely escalation of incidents, reporting to the monitoring centre within the stipulated timeframe, and submission of written incident reports within 24 hours.
• Communicate and engage closely with customers on daily operational matters, including equipment breakdowns and preventive and corrective maintenance activities, while effectively managing customer expectations.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar field.
• Hands-on experience in ASRS equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, with the ability to diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive and customer-focused attitude.
• Candidate must be willing to work in Penang.
• Training will be provided.
