Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim in Jakarta Selatan seeks an Assistant Cook to support the Head Chef in preparing daily meals according to the menu and company standards. You will prepare ingredients, wash, cut, season, and portion foods, while maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsible for proper storage, stock monitoring, and reporting shortages; assist with serving and timely meal delivery. Overtime may be required with pay in line with regulations; English communication is required, Mandarin

Qualifications

Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent.
Prior experience as Assistant Cook or Kitchen Helper preferred.
Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
Willing to prepare pork and other meats (non halal).
Able to communicate in English; Mandarin is a plus.
Willing to work overtime with applicable overtime pay.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in preparing and cooking daily meals according to the menu and standards.
Prepare ingredients including washing, cutting, seasoning, and portioning.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, and utensils.
Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
Monitor stock and report shortages or replenishment needs.
Assist with food serving and ensure meals are served on time.
Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned.
