Job summary

PT Merauke Sugar Group is seeking an experienced Asset Management Specialist to oversee all aspects of asset control, recording, tagging, transfers, and disposal. You will ensure records align with physical assets and the accounting system, and you will manage periodic inventories and depreciation tracking.

The role requires 4–5 years in asset management or fixed asset accounting, strong depreciation knowledge, and proficiency with Accurate Accounting Software and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in asset management or fixed asset accounting.
• Solid understanding of depreciation and accounting principles.
• Proficient in accounting software and Excel.
• Strong communication and cross‑department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and control company assets, including recording, tagging, transfers, and disposal.
• Ensure accuracy of asset records between physical assets and the system.
• Coordinate periodic asset inventory and stock-taking activities.
• Monitor asset depreciation and ensure compliance with standards and policies.
• Prepare asset reports and reconcile with accounting records.
• Support internal and external audits related to assets.
• Coordinate with departments on asset acquisition, movement, maintenance, and disposal.
• Recommend improvements to asset control and utilization.
