Tao Architect is seeking an Architectural Designer to excel in competitions and research‑driven projects, developing design concepts from concept through production, with mood boards, layouts to material specifications.

You will work closely with the principals and design team to develop competition entries and production from concept through development, with emphasis on research and conceptual rigor.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years experience in architecture/design.
• Strong conceptual, design and graphics skills.
• Experience with technical detailing, construction documentation & construction administration.
• Knowledge of products, materials, and construction methods.

Responsabilités

• Create Architecture design concepts and strategies.
• Prepare and review drawings, models, images, mood boards and materials related to design.
• Collaborate with design & construction teams.
• Develop design options and outputs.
• Prepare and edit drawings for projects.
• Attend site visits to review drawings, mocks‑ups, materials, and finish samples submitted by contractors.

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER - PROJECT & COMPETITION

TAO is a research based architecture studio. Looking for a passionate architectural designer who excel in competitions and architecture projects that combines strong conceptual design and research curiosity, develop architecture design projects from concept through production. From mood boards and layouts to material specification and details.

You will work closely with the principals and design team to develop competition entries, research driven design concepts, and project productions from concept through development.

We are looking for Architects with 5-10 years experience.

Qualifications:

Strong conceptual, design and graphicskills.

Experience with technical detailing, construction documentation & construction administration.

Ability to resolve technical and design challenges through innovative thinking.

Knowledge of products, materials, and construction methods.

Ability to develop interior design is a plus.

Ability to develop design options in collaboration with the design team.

Ability to prepare, develop and edit drawings and models as they relate to the project.

Should have strong ability with Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop and Indesign.

Strong organizational skills.

The ability to be proactive,self-motivated, and ableto take initiative in response to direction from managers.

Great interpersonal communication skills.

A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working.

Responsibilities:

Creating Architecture design concepts and strategies

To prepare, and reviewing architecture concept, drawings, models, images, material & mood boards and other documents relating to the design

Working closely with design & construction teams

Taking initiative and developing design options and output

Preparing and editing drawings as they relate to projects

Site visit to assist in reviewing drawings, mock ups, materials, and finish samples submitted by project contractors
