We are a boutique design practice dedicated to crafting refined, intentional spaces. At Studio Ganda, we believe in an artisanal approach to architecture and interior design, blending modern, minimalist aesthetics with a deep respect for natural materials, balance, and the environment. Our studio does not produce mass-market designs; instead, we focus on a curated portfolio of distinctive environments, ensuring every project receives our intimate attention and specialised expertise.

The Role

We are seeking a highly driven designer with an exacting eye to join our close-knit team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing signature concepts, translating abstract visions into tailored, highly tactile realities for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary design team. Direct and monitor draftsmen to ensure all technical drawings align perfectly with the design intent and minimalist proportions.

Project Management: Handle multiple design projects simultaneously from conceptualization to completion, ensuring strict adherence to timelines and budget constraints.

Design Execution: Develop highly accurate, photorealistic 3D renders, maintaining original building angles, adjusting lighting, and managing negative space without altering the core design essence.

Conceptualisation: Create compelling mood boards, material palettes, and presentation decks that align with our elegant, muted brand standards. Design efficient, innovative floor plans optimizing complex spatial requirements.

Client & Vendor Relations: Act as the primary liaison for client presentations, managing expectations and translating their vision into reality. Coordinate effectively with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers.

Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve on-site challenges, and ensure physical execution matches the approved designs perfectly.

Qualifications:

Experience: 3–5 years of professional working experience in Architecture or Interior Design, with a proven track record in a leadership or senior role handling high-end projects (residential or hospitality).

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.

Aesthetic Alignment: A strong portfolio demonstrating an affinity for design directions such as Tropical Modernism, Japandi, Refined Brutalism, or Quiet Luxury. Must show a keen sensitivity to tactile materials (like timber and stone) and minimalist proportions.

Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Rhino for drafting and modeling. Expertise in Enscape, 3ds Max, and V-Ray for rendering. Strong proficiency in InDesign is highly preferred for compiling client presentation decks.

Deep Knowledge: Strong understanding of high-end interior finishes, global design trends, ergonomics, and custom furniture construction details.

Communication: Fluent in English (written and spoken) to comfortably converse with international clients. Conversational ability in Mandarin is a strong advantage.

Work Ethic: Proactive, disciplined, and capable of working effectively under pressure and tight deadlines. Highly detail-oriented (pixel-perfect) with a sharp eye for proportion.
