Job summary

PT Eriweld International Indonesia is seeking an Application Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in projects and technical roles in Jakarta. The candidate will prepare proposals, cost estimates, BOMs, and product selections to meet customer requirements.

They will review SLDs and diagrams, coordinate with Sales/Engineering/Procurement/Production to ensure accurate project execution, and manage multiple projects with planning and monitoring. Familiarity with IEC/IEEE standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
• 2-3 years of experience in Application Engineering, Project Management, or similar roles.
• Understanding of electrical panel systems, switchgear, control systems, or industrial electrical installations.
• Ability to read SLDs, wiring diagrams, layouts, etc.
• Skilled in cost estimates, technical proposals, BOMs.
• Experience managing multiple projects with planning, scheduling, coordination, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with IEC/IEEE standards and standard industry practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical proposals, cost estimations, BOMs, and product selections based on customer needs.
• Review and interpret SLDs, wiring diagrams, layouts, and project specs.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, and Production to ensure accurate execution.
• Manage multiple engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, monitoring progress and timely completion.
• Provide technical support to customers during pre-sales and project implementation.
• Ensure all designs comply with IEC, IEEE standards and company requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, technical reports, and engineering records.
• Support technical discussions and site visits with customers, consultants, and contractors.
• Identify technical risks and propose practical solutions for successful delivery.
• Continuously improve engineering processes and share knowledge within the team.
