Job summary

PT. Powertek Indo Asia is looking for an Electrical Drafter to prepare precise electrical panel drawings and technical documentation supporting engineering, production and project requirements.

You will develop SLDs, wiring and schematic diagrams, 2D/3D drawings, and detailed fabrication layouts for panels and components, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards while coordinating with Engineering, Project and Production teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Power Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Electrical Drafter or similar position, preferably in electrical panel/switchboard industry; fresh graduates with relevant skills welcome.
• Good understanding of electrical systems, circuits and components.
• Familiar with LV panels, distribution panels, control panels, and MCC panels.
• Able to read and create SLDs, wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams and panel layouts.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D; knowledge of SolidWorks / Solid Edge / EPLAN is an advantage.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings and electrical specifications.
• Good understanding of basic electrical standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop electrical panel drawings based on project specifications and engineering requirements.
• Create and revise Single Line Diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams, and panel layouts.
• Prepare 2D/3D technical drawings for electrical panels and components.
• Develop detailed drawings for panel fabrication, assembly, and production.
• Review drawings and ensure accuracy according to technical specifications and applicable standards.
• Update drawings based on engineering revisions, customer comments, or project changes.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project, and Production teams regarding drawing and design requirements.
• Maintain and organize drawings, revisions, and other technical documentation.
