Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in BSD, South Tangerang is seeking an Airfreight Export Supervisor to oversee export airfreight operations and ensure shipments are handled efficiently and in compliance with regulations.

You will lead a team, coordinate end-to-end shipments, monitor milestones, and optimize performance while building strong relationships with customers, brokers, and service providers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Air Freight Export operations.
• Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Solid computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office and operational systems.
• Proven leadership and team-management ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead an airfreight export operations team.
• Coordinate end-to-end export shipment processes.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including QHSE.
• Communicate with customers to understand export needs and advise on shipping solutions.
• Ensure accurate shipment data and milestones are updated in the system.
• Build relationships with PCM teams, customs brokers, and service providers.
• Monitor shipments and proactively resolve delays.
• Train and mentor staff on procedures and best practices.
• Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.

AIR FREIGHT EXPORT SUPERVISOR

Location: BSD, South Tangerang

Reports To: Air Freight Export Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Airfreight Export Supervisor to oversee and manage export airfreight operations. This role ensures all shipments are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with regulations, meeting customer expectations while optimizing operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of airfreight export operations specialists.
• Coordinate and manage end-to-end export shipment processes.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) requirements.
• Communicate with customers to understand export needs, providing guidance on shipping solutions, rates, and transit times.
• Ensure accurate and timely system updates, including shipment details, consignee information, and export milestones.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with PCM teams, customs brokers, and service providers.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve operational issues or delays.
• Train, coach, and mentor team members on procedures, regulations, and best practices.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Comply with and actively support Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety, and Business Continuity Management Systems.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Air Freight Export operations.
• Strong proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
• Solid computer literacy (MS Office and operational systems).
• Strong results-oriented mindset while maintaining professionalism and respect.
• Proven technical competencies relevant to airfreight export operations.
