About the Role

Ku Creatives is one of the first AI‑powered ad creative production floors in the world. We produce for Bear Grylls, Fortune 500 agencies, and 70+ creative teams worldwide, delivering over 1,300 videos every month from our production floor in Jakarta. We pioneered the model of combining trained editors with the most advanced AI tools on the market to produce ad creatives at a speed and scale that traditional agencies simply cannot match. Ku Creatives only serves international clients.

We're looking for an AI Creative Intern to join us at the frontier of where AI meets advertising. You'll experiment with the latest AI tools, push the boundaries of what's possible with AI‑generated ad creatives, and help us stay ahead of every new tool and technique hitting the market.

This is a creative exploration role. You'll spend your days testing AI tools, creating imaginative ad concepts that nobody has seen before, researching what's new in AI content production, and supporting the team with prompting work for client deliverables. If you're the kind of person who already spends hours playing with AI tools for fun, this is the role where that obsession becomes your job.

You won't find another internship like this in Indonesia. You'll be learning AI ad production from the inside of a company that's defining how the industry works, producing for some of the biggest names in the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Experiment with AI tools to create innovative ad creatives, video concepts, and visual content that push creative boundaries.
• Research and test the latest AI tools, features, and updates as they launch. Be the first person on the team who knows what's new and how to use it.
• Develop and document effective prompts, workflows, and techniques that the editing team can adopt into client production.
• Support editors with AI prompting work for client deliverables (AI UGC generation, animated character ads, AI product visuals).
• Create sample ad concepts and spec work that showcase what AI‑powered production can do for prospective clients.
• Build and maintain an internal library of AI prompts, templates, and best practices that the team references daily.
• Collaborate with editors, the project manager, and the creative team to find ways AI can speed up or improve existing production workflows.
• Present weekly findings to the team on new tools, new techniques, and new creative possibilities.

Qualifications

• Background in video editing, motion graphics, or graphic design. You know how to edit. AI is the layer on top.
• A portfolio showing your creative work. Can be personal projects, freelance work, school projects, spec work, or AI experiments. We want to see how you think creatively.
• High imagination and a genuine obsession with AI tools. If you're already experimenting with MakeUGC, Midjourney, Runway, HeyGen, ElevenLabs, Kling, or similar tools in your own time, you're exactly who we're looking for.
• Willingness to learn fast, fail fast, and try again. This role is about experimentation. Not everything will work. That's the point.
• Basic understanding of what makes a good ad creative (hooks, pacing, visual storytelling). You don't need to be a media buyer, but you should understand why some ads stop the scroll and others don't.
• Familiar with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, or similar editing software.
• Conversational English (written and spoken). You'll be working with AI tools that are primarily in English and supporting production for international clients.
• Self‑motivated. You don't wait to be told what to try next. You find it yourself and bring it to the team.
• Willing to work full‑time from office in Jakarta.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts.
• Understanding of ecommerce or direct‑response advertising.
• An existing collection of AI experiments, prompts, or generated content you can show us.
