Job summary

Xingyun Group in Jakarta is seeking a proactive junior Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join our AI infra team. You will help manage compute nodes, servers, and network gear, and help deploy and test AI-ready environments.

You will work with business development and delivery teams, document SOPs, and assist with pre-sales technical support while learning quickly in a multicultural, cloud-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Proficient in Python; familiar with PyTorch/TensorFlow.
• Strong Linux admin, Docker, cloud, data center infra, networking, and GPU basics.
• Ability to develop automation scripts in Python/Shell/Bash.
• Proficient in English for international communication and documentation.
• Strong interest in AI infrastructure and cloud tech; fast learner and problem solving.
• Detail-oriented, customer-focused; able to work in multicultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily inspection, basic configuration, operational monitoring, and initial hardware fault diagnosis of compute nodes, servers, and network equipment to ensure stable system operations.
• Support the technical team in setting up system environments, conducting software and hardware testing, deploying solutions, and preparing/updating SOPs and operation & maintenance logs.
• Respond promptly to day-to-day technical issues, document incidents, perform initial troubleshooting and root cause analysis, and escalate complex issues while collaborating with senior engineers to resolve them.
• Serve as a technical liaison, working closely with the business development and delivery teams to provide pre-sales technical support, on-site assistance, and day-to-day responses to customer technical inquiries.
