Job summary

Stie Yai is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Jakarta-based team. The role focuses on maintaining on‑premise pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure across GCP and Tencent Cloud, and automating operations with Bash scripting.

You will ensure robust CI/CD, monitoring, and timely incident response in a hybrid work setting. You will work with Linux systems, networking, and containerized services, collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to support deployments and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Strong understanding of Linux administration, Bash scripting, and system fundamentals.
• Good understanding of HTTP and networking fundamentals including firewalls, ports, DNS, and reverse proxies.
• Knowledge of DevOps fundamentals such as CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and automation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP, Tencent Cloud, or other providers.
• Experience with Jenkins, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, Ansible, Node.js, Python, or PHP is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Growth mindset with willingness to learn, solve problems, and continuously improve.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure availability of on-premise servers.
• Manage cloud infrastructure across GCP and Tencent Cloud.
• Handle DevOps operations including logging, metrics, monitoring, automation, and Bash scripting.
• Administer Linux servers covering user management, file permissions, process management, system services, cron jobs, and package management.
• Configure networking components such as firewalls, DNS, reverse proxies (Nginx), TLS/SSL certificates, load balancing, VPNs, and tunneling.
• Manage containerized services using Docker Compose, including container networking, image optimization, volume management, health checks, and private registries.
• Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems for server metrics, application health, log aggregation, uptime monitoring, and incident response.
• Automate operational tasks using shell scripting, cron jobs, and CI/CD pipeline improvements.
• Research, propose, and implement infrastructure improvements.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to support deployments and operational needs.
