Job summary

JD Aero Technical is seeking a Payroll and Accounts Payable administrator for a one-year maternity-leave contract. You will handle payroll processing, vendor invoices, and related financial reports in a fast-paced setting at our Sault Ste. Marie location.

The role requires GAAP/ASPE knowledge, strong Excel skills, and experience with QuickBooks. Candidates must be able to work with internal teams and vendors in a timely, accurate manner.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years experience in payroll and accounts payable in computerized environment.
• Strong GAAP and ASPE knowledge; proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for all employees and contractors bi-weekly using accounting software.
• Manage accounts payable: verify invoices, PO matching, and vendor remittance.
• Prepare payroll summaries and bi-weekly liabilities reports for management.
• Handle data entry, vendor communications, and government-m mandated reports as required.
