Job summary

PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk in Jakarta is seeking a highly analytical Finance Reporting & Analyst to join our team. You will perform monthly financial and operational performance analysis for operating JV entities and prepare public releases.

The ideal candidate has a public accounting firm background (KAP) with Senior Audit Associate or Big 4 experience, strong knowledge of auditing, IFRS and Indonesian SAK, plus excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Experience in a Public Accounting Firm (KAP), preferably Senior Audit Associate or Big 4.
• Strong knowledge of Auditing, Financial Accounting and Regulatory Compliances.
• Fluency in Indonesian and English; knowledge of IFRS and SAK.
• Experience auditing clients across sectors (Oil & Gas, Mining, Technology, Manufacturing, Retail).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP Software, Bookkeeping, and Cashflow planning.
• Professional certification such as Indonesian Tax Certification (Brevet A/B/C) is an advantage.

Summary

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Finance Reporting & Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of working in the accounting industry with a public accounting firm (KAP) background. You will be involved in the monthly financial and operational performance analysis, public releases, KJPP reports, and assisting strategic corporate actions.

Responsibilities

• Perform a month‑end financial and operational performance analysis for operating JV entities.
• Prepare public releases of the company, review KJPP (independent appraiser) reports, and other relevant financial documentation.
• Analyze the accounting data to assist in the execution of the company's corporate actions; provide support on ad‑hoc projects and strategic business initiatives.
• Evaluate the adequacy of financial statement disclosures and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Proven professional experience in a Public Accounting Firm (KAP) with preference given to candidates who have reached a Senior Audit Associate level or have Big 4 experience.
• Strong knowledge of Auditing, Financial Accounting and Regulatory Compliances.
• Good knowledge of Indonesian Accounting Standards (SAK) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Previous experience auditing clients across a range of sectors (Oil & Gas, Mining, Technology, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong technical skills: Microsoft Office, ERP Software, Bookkeeping, Cashflow planning and management.
• Possessing professional certification is an advantage, such as Indonesian Tax Certification (Brevet A/B/C).
• Great communication skills and fluency in English.
