Job summary

PT Karya Putra Sangkuriang seeks an experienced accounting leader to head the accounting department, supervising staff and coordinating day-to-day operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA or Akuntan Bersertifikat (Indonesian equivalent).
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations (corporate income tax, VAT, and other statutory obligations).
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent understanding of GAAP or IFRS.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and develop accounting staff.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication in Indonesian and English.

• Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of general ledger accounts, bank reconciliations and subsidiary ledgers.
• Develop and implement internal accounting policies, procedures and controls to enhance efficiency and reduce financial risks.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities regarding financial and tax matters.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to management to support business decisions.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with Indonesian financial regulations and tax legislation.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimisation within the accounting function.

What we're looking for
