• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and related standards
• 5+ years as lead auditor at a Big Four firm
• 3+ years as Finance/Accounting Supervisor in corporate setting
• Solid knowledge of PSAK, IFRS, GAAP and tax regulations
• Strong financial statement analysis and budgeting abilities
• Proficient in depreciation, fixed assets, and amortization

Responsibilities

• Prepare external audit materials and ensure timely financial reports
• Track and report financial transactions in compliance with standards
• Prepare and review US GAAP financial statements and monthly/quarterly reports
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights
• Compute depreciation, prepayments, and loan/leasing amortization

Job description

Accounting Junior Manager responsible for external audit preparation to ensure the company's financial reports and to provide accurate and timely financial data to the management and auditors.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure that all financial transactions are accurately tracked, timely reported and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and periodic activity reports, such as monthly budget reports, quarterly cash flow analyses, and expense variance reports, to support management and annual budget proposals

Work closely with other departments to provide financial insight and support business decisions

Calculate and update fixed asset depreciation, prepayment amortization, and calculation of loans/leasing (principal and interest)

Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor degree (S1) in Financial or Accounting

Deep knowledge and understanding of Finance & Accounting audit principles in accordance with US GAAP

At least 5 years of work experience as a lead auditor at a reputable Public Accounting Firm (Big Four)

Minimum 3 years working experience as a Finance / Accounting Supervisor or equivalent in corporate (shipping industry is preferably)

Good understanding of PSAK, IFRS, and GAAP accounting standards, and updated tax regulations

Good skill in financial statement analysis, cost control, budgeting, and to identify and resolve complex financial issues

Good understanding of fixed assets, depreciation, and amortization

Proficient in using MS Excel, such as IF, VLookUp, HLookUp, Pivot functions

Fluent in communicating in English, both verbal and written

Good presentation and communication skill
