Job summary

Jet Commerce is seeking an Account Receivable Jr. Specialist in Jakarta to manage invoicing and collections, update bank statements, and support monthly close processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 1–2 years of accounting experience, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software. The candidate should have strong attention to detail, good communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in English; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required.
• 1–2 years accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Knowledge in A/R, A/P, General Ledger, Financial Statements, and taxation.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Proficient in English; Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create invoices based on contract/quotation/sales order.
• Collect payments from accounts receivable and other receivables.
• Check and update bank statement information in the system.
• Classify bank receipts for cash flow statements.
• Create journals for invoicing, bank receipts, and accrued revenue.
• Reconcile journal entries with the trial balance monthly.
• Prepare accounting entries and maintain company processes.
• Assist monthly closing by recording cash transactions.
• Maintain integrity and confidentiality of financial transactions.
• Prepare weekly reports on outstanding receivables.

Position: Account Receivable Jr. Specialist

What will you do:

• Create invoice based on Contract/Quotation/Sales Order.
• Responsible for collecting payments from Account Receivable / Other Receivable.
• Check and update the bank statement information to system.
• Classified all bank receipt based on its nature for Cash Flow Statement.
• Create journal for invoicing, bank receipt and accrued revenue accurately.
• Reconcile account journal and listing tie up with Trial Balance every month.
• Prepare accounting related entries to numerous journals and maintain Company’s accounting processes.
• Assist in monthly closing by ensuring all cash receipt & cash out transactions are properly recorded.
• Maintain integrity and confidentiality of all financial transactions.
• Prepare and report any tasks that assigned from Upper Level.
• Prepare weekly report for all Outstanding Account Receivable and Other Receivable to Manager.

What you will need:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting major.
• At least 1-2 years of working experience in accounting is required for this position.
• Ability to function Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Have extensive knowledge in A/R, A/P, General Ledger, Financial Statement as well as taxation.
• Have a high attention to detail, good communication skill and interpersonal skill.
• Proficient in English, Mandarin is a plus (Can speak, read and write Mandarin very well)
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadline.
