Job summary

Fortress Digital Services is seeking an experienced Account Manager/Project Manager to oversee client relationships in the banking sector. You will translate business requirements into technical specs and coordinate implementation with internal teams, while monitoring progress and driving revenue through renewals and new opportunities.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in IT and 3+ years in IT service roles, with strong SDLC, agile/waterfall, and contract management knowledge.

Job description

• Manage relationships with banking stakeholders at various levels, from operational teams to senior management.
• Translate clients' business requirements into clear technical requirements and coordinate their implementation with internal technical teams, including Project Managers, Developers, and QA Engineers.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and coordinate project escalations with the Project Manager, including operational issues related to switching services such as incidents, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Lead regular client meetings, prepare project status reports, and deliver presentations to clients.
• Manage contracts, project scope, change requests, and invoicing processes in collaboration with relevant internal teams.
• Achieve revenue targets through contract renewals, service enhancements, and new project opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company information security policies, as well as applicable banking regulations and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Account Manager, Project Manager, Client Manager, or Business Analyst within an IT or software company.
• Minimum 2 years of experience handling payment or transaction switching projects or products.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and fundamental system architecture concepts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working with revenue targets and managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel and conduct on-site visits to client offices in Bandung and Jakarta.
• Previous experience handling banking or financial institution clients.
• Good understanding of banking business processes, including core banking, financing, and Islamic banking (Sharia), as well as transaction switching processes such as ISO 8583, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or ITIL are preferred. Experience in contract management and Service Level Agreement (SLA) management is also highly desirable.
