Job summary

Ambition is seeking a Workplace System Analyst for our Investment Banking client in Hong Kong. The role will manage workplace technology platforms, analyze occupancy and space data, and develop dashboards to guide management decisions.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of experience in systems administration or analytics, with strong Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint skills. English and Chinese proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain workplace technology platforms (desk booking, meeting room reservation, visitor management, space management).
• Collect, analyse and interpret workplace data (occupancy, space utilisation, attendance trends, user behaviour) to provide actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and presentations for management decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency via process optimisation, workflow enhancements and automation.
• Act as SME for workplace systems, providing user support, troubleshooting, training and guidance.
• Support day-to-day operations and participate in workplace projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Administer and maintain workplace technology platforms, including desk booking, meeting room reservation, visitor management, and space management systems.
• Collect, analyse, and interpret workplace data such as occupancy, space utilisation, attendance trends, and user behaviour to provide actionable business insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations to support management decision-making and workplace strategy.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process optimisation, workflow enhancement, and automation initiatives.
• Act as the subject matter expert for workplace systems, providing user support, troubleshooting, training, and guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Support day-to-day workplace operations and participate in workplace projects and continuous improvement initiatives as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in systems administration, business analytics, workplace services, operations, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and other reporting or data visualisation tools.
• Experience with automation tools, low-code platforms, VBA, Python, AI tools, or process improvement initiatives would be an advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
