Job summary

CITIC Securities International Company Limited is seeking an experienced IT business analyst to bridge business stakeholders and the IT department in Hong Kong. The role focuses on analyzing and implementing technology solutions for the securities, brokerage and wealth management business.

You will gather and document requirements, conduct gap analyses, and prepare functional specs, user stories, and use cases to align with business goals.

Qualifications

• 8 years of related experience in securities, banking, brokerage, wealth management (alternative experience considered).
• Strong Java development skills with experience in multiple Java frameworks.
• Knowledge of securities trading and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and IT during analysis and implementation of technology solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for securities and brokerage operations.
• Conduct gap analyses between current and future processes and technology.
• Prepare detailed functional specifications, user stories, and use cases.
• Work with development managers and teams to design and review technical solutions.
• Participate in project planning and monitoring progress, reporting to stakeholders.
• Support UAT and provide training on new systems and processes.
• Develop user guides and documentation as needed.
