Job summary

CITIC Securities International in Hong Kong is seeking an IT/Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and the IT team, focusing on analysis and implementation of technology solutions for securities, brokerage and wealth management.

You will gather requirements, document use cases, conduct gap analyses, and support UAT and training while collaborating with developers and project managers to deliver compliant, efficient systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in IT / Computer Science; Master Degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in trading/banking system development.
• Java development with one or more Java frameworks.
• Understanding of securities trading and brokerage operations preferred.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques, process mapping, and data analysis.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Team player who can manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Fluent in English; Cantonese and Putonghua preferred.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between business stakeholders and IT to analyze and implement technology solutions for securities and wealth management.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to securities and brokerage operations. Identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements.
• Conduct gap analyses between current and future state business processes and technology solutions.
• Prepare detailed functional specifications, user stories, and use cases that align with business goals.
• Work with development managers and development team to design and review technical solutions to meet business requirements
• Participate in project planning and management, including monitoring progress and reporting on project status to stakeholders.
• Support UAT to ensure requirements are met, provide training and support on new systems and processes.
• Develop user guides and documentation as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in IT / Computer Science or related disciplines, Master Degree is highly preferred
• 3- 5 years of experience in trading/banking system development
• Development skills in Java and working with one of more Java frameworks
• Understanding of securities trading, brokerage operations, fund, bond, structured products and financial regulations are preferred
• Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques, process mapping, and data analysis.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
