Job summary

CICC in Hong Kong is seeking a trading desk professional to conduct overnight stock trades, TRS and OTC option trades, and to hedge risk. You will monitor risks through the overnight session and coordinate with sales and clients to execute trades.

You will ensure accurate booking and reconciliation of trades, and hand over tasks to mid-shift and day-shift traders. Strong integrity and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related disciplines.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in financial industry. Proven experience in derivatives trading.
• Mastery of secondary market trading rules and knowledge in both domestic and overseas markets, including European and US markets.

Perform the monitoring and management of various risks during the overnight session on the trading desk.

Communicate with sales personnel or clients to facilitate the execution of various trades.

Ensure the booking and reconciliation of overnight trades on the trading desk.

Coordinate with mid-shift and day-shift traders to hand over relevant trades, and complete trading tasks.

Skills and Abilities

Demonstrates outstanding integrity, honesty, humility, perseverance as well as remarkable ethical behaviour.

Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related disciplines.

1-3 years of relevant experience in financial industry. Proven experience in derivatives trading.

Mastery of secondary market trading rules and knowledge in both domestic and overseas markets, including European and US markets. Sound knowledge of derivative product structures, legal frameworks, trading, booking and settlement processes.

Strong English proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork spirit. Demonstrated execution capability and the ability to work under pressure.

Hold a securities industry licence.
