Robert Half Hong Kong Limited is seeking a Vice President, Finance for our hedge fund client overseeing accounting and finance across Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan. You will drive month-end, budgeting, forecasting and regulatory reporting to support regional growth.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with a CPA/ACCA/CA qualification and 8–15 years in hedge funds or asset management, with strong cross-border experience and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent.
• 8-15 years of relevant finance and accounting experience in hedge funds, asset management, or proprietary trading firms.
• Familiarity with multi-jurisdiction finance operations across Asia.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

Responsabilités

• Oversee full set of accounting and finance activities across Hong Kong, Singapore, and Japan entities.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Prepare management accounts, annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis exercises.
• Monitor business performance, expenses, and cash flow across the region.
• Prepare and review regulatory filings, including FRR for Hong Kong, MAS for Singapore, and FIEA for Japan.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory, accounting, and tax requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, fund administrators, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.

Our client is a sizeable hedge fund manager with a growing presence across Asia. They are looking for a Vice President, Finance to oversee the finance function for Hong Kong, Singapore, and Japan entities.

The Role

• Oversee the full set of accounting and finance activities across Hong Kong, Singapore, and Japan entities.


• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.


• Prepare management accounts, annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis exercises.


• Monitor business performance, expenses, and cash flow across the region.

Our Profile
