Job summary

Based in Hong Kong, the Fund Operations & Transformation Senior Associate will lead regional fund operations, partnering with external administrators to align financial reporting, NAV, and regulatory requirements across Greater China. The role combines finance with technology to drive automation and efficiency in APAC finance processes.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in international fund administration, strong Excel/VBA skills, and fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in accounting, finance or related discipline
• 4–6 years' experience with intl fund admin/investment operations
• Knowledge of SFC-authorized funds; MRF and QDLP desirable
• Proficiency in Excel, VBA, Macro or AI tools (e.g., Claude, Co-pilot, Alteryx)
• Fluent English; Mandarin and Cantonese highly desirable

Job Duties

• Report to Regional Head of Fund Accounting & Operations
• Integrated functions from corporate financial reporting, NAV and fund operations by working closely with external fund administrators/distributors in the greater China region
• Conduct detailed reviews of financial statements and investors reports
• Resolve any related enquiries and fund audit by coordinating with internal/external stakeholders and ensure the fulfilment of regulatory requirements
• Active participation in AI automation and streamlining finance processes

Requirements

• Degree holder in accounting, finance or related discipline

Job Duties

• Regional SME & Finance Tech/Systems Lead: Own APAC finance process architecture, ensuring local operations and tax/regulatory requirements (GST, withholding tax, multi-currency) align with global platforms.
