Robert Half Hong Kong Limited is representing a top-tier hedge funds asset manager expanding its APAC presence. They seek a Finance Director to lead the finance and accounting function across Hong Kong and Middle East entities.

The role focuses on financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, month-end and year-end closing, and ensuring compliance with SFC, FRR, and ADGM regulations. You will partner with senior management on growth strategies and supervise tax, audits, and external advisors.

Qualifications

• CPA/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Around 10+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
• Experience in asset management, hedge funds or related investment platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SFC and FRR reporting requirements.
• Exposure to Middle East entities is advantageous.

The Role

• Lead the finance and accounting function across Hong Kong and Middle East entities
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end/year-end closing processes
• Ensure compliance with SFC, FRR, and relevant ADGM regulatory requirements
• Manage tax matters, statutory audits, and relationships with external service providers
• Partner closely with senior management to support business growth and strategic decision-making
• Provide leadership on regional finance projects and operational initiatives

Your Profile

• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
• Around 10+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience
• Prior experience gained within asset management, hedge funds, or broader investment management platforms
• Strong understanding of SFC and FRR reporting requirements
• Exposure to Middle East entities would be advantageous
• Proven ability to operate in a hands-on and entrepreneurial environment
