Job summary

Green Lake Executive Search Co. Limited is seeking an Associate/ Vice President - Settlement, Operations to lead settlement processes for overseas markets, funds, bonds and OTC products.

You will direct daily settlement activities, reconciliations and post-trade processing, coordinating with custodians and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate outcomes. The role requires strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills; fluency in Cantonese and English is essential, Mandarin

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting or relevant field.
• 4–8 years of securities settlement experience, international markets preferred.
• Familiarity with Middle X, Clearstream, CMU operations is highly preferred.
• Experience with bonds, structured products or OTC derivatives is an asset.
• Cross-border settlement expertise and best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong Excel knowledge and skills.
• Fluency in Cantonese and English; Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage settlement processes for trades in Overseas Markets, Mutual Funds, Bonds and OTC Products.
• Oversee daily settlement operations, trade matching, and client deposits/withdrawals.
• Handle pre-matching, daily booking and settlement; ensure post-trade reconciliations.
• Liaise with custodians, counterparties and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with local market conventions and regulatory changes.
