Job summary

Quam Plus International Financial Limited is seeking an experienced risk professional to support the department head in managing and enhancing the risk management framework. The role focuses on credit risk policies, procedures and approval limits, and on evaluating credit applications for margin loans, money lender loans, and investments.

You will prepare risk reports, identify mitigations, and provide expert analysis on projects and market conditions to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; advanced credentials preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in credit risk management preferably within a leading financial institution.
• Expertise in credit evaluation and investment assessment.
• Strong background in financial analysis, credit risk models, and credit approval.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and VBA for quantitative analysis and modeling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese, capable of presenting complex credit analyses to senior stakeholders.
• Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the department head in managing and enhancing the risk management framework and policy.

• Evaluate credit applications for margin loans, money lender loans, and investment projects by conducting in-depth review of the creditworthiness of counterparties and collaterals.
• Conduct periodic reviews of margin loan transactions and investment portfolios to ensure adherence to credit policies and risk guidelines.
• Prepare comprehensive risk reports with actionable insights for strategic decision-making, including recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
• Support strategic business initiatives by providing expert risk analysis on projects, transactions, and market conditions.
