Job summary

Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. is seeking a Vice President, Business Management for Corporate Banking in Hong Kong. The role focuses on analyzing key performance metrics, profitability, and portfolio trends to uncover growth opportunities and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Economics, Mathematics or related disciplines.
Minimum 12 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or business management within corporate banking or financial institutions, with exposure to project delivery and risk & control activities
Proven project management experience in system implementation, workflow automation and/or AI-related initiatives
Sound knowledge of corporate banking products, loan processes and risk & control frameworks, including HKMA regulatory requirements, AML and KRI reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high proficiency in Excel VBA, Qlik Sense, and data visualization tools
Self-motivated, organized and able to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of the loan workflow system and AI initiatives, covering project scoping, stakeholder and vendor coordination, timeline and budget control, UAT, change management, and post-implementation review
Drive division-level projects spanning system enhancements, data governance, process re-engineering and digital transformation
Own the division's risk & control framework, including regulatory reporting, annual product reviews, KRI monitoring, control issue tracking, and remediation
Partner with Risk, Compliance, Operations, and IT to embed regulatory and risk-control requirements into business processes and system workflows
Analyze performance and develop MIS reports, KPIs, and dashboards to support management decision-making
