DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited seeks a VP, Team Lead for Consumer Banking Group Analytics to spearhead data-driven insights across Investment Product & Advisory, targeting affluent clients. You will drive analytics strategy, lead a regional team, and partner with product and advisory heads to align priorities with business goals.

You will foster adoption of advanced analytics tools, AI capabilities, and cloud architecture while ensuring governance and risk frameworks are met.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field.
Minimum 12 years of hands‑on data analytics experience within financial services or wealth management, with at least 3 years in a team leadership role.
Proficiency in Python/PySpark, enterprise BI tools and Cloud Computing Platforms. Experience in Qlik Sense and GCP is a plus.
Deep domain expertise in consumer investment products (Equities, Unit Trusts, Equity-linked products, Fixed Income, FX, Wealth Lending) and advisory sales workflows.
Strong business acumen with a proven track record of converting data insights into actionable results for revenue and productivity gains.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional regional and local leaders.
Good exposure to or hands‑on experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLM applications, or AI co‑pilot integration in a banking context.
Track record of collaborating with regional tech/analytics teams to deliver enterprise-scale data solutions.
Solid understanding of HKMA and SFC regulatory frameworks regarding wealth advisory suitability and sales surveillance.
Fluency in English and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of data professionals delivering actionable analytics to drive the Investment Product & Advisory business targeting the affluent customer segment.
Formulate data-driven strategies to accelerate Investment Product penetration and grow overall portfolio revenue.
Design and deliver data solutions to drive revenue, enhance productivity, and monitor risk, including cross-sell opportunity and attrition identification, wealth shift analyses, and performance dashboards.
Lead and collaborate with regional teams to build and deploy Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions for the Investment business such as Advisory Co-pilot and Automated Sales Surveillance.
Partner with Product Heads and Advisory Sales Heads to align data priorities with overarching business goals.
Ensure all data operations, AI models, and regulatory reporting standards strictly comply with the Bank’s governance and risk frameworks.
Translate quantitative insights into clear narratives for business executives and senior leaders.
Champion the adoption of the latest analytics tools, AI capabilities, and cloud architecture within the consumer analytics ecosystem.
