Job summary

DBS Bank in Hong Kong seeks a senior data analytics leader to drive actionable analytics for the Investment Product & Advisory business, focusing on affluent clients. You will lead a regional team, formulate data-driven strategies, and deliver solutions across cross-sell, attrition, and performance dashboards.

You will champion Generative AI initiatives, partner with product and advisory teams, and ensure governance and regulatory compliance while translating insights into strategic narratives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of hands-on data analytics experience in financial services or wealth management with at least 3 years in a team leadership role.
• Proficiency in Python/PySpark, enterprise BI tools and Cloud Computing Platforms; experience in Qlik Sense and GCP is a plus.
• Deep domain expertise in consumer investment products and advisory sales workflows.
• Strong business acumen with a proven track record of converting data insights into revenue and productivity gains.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional regional and local leaders.
• Experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLM apps, or AI copilots in a banking context.
• Solid understanding of HKMA and SFC regulatory frameworks relating to wealth advisory suitability and sales surveillance.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of data professionals delivering actionable analytics for Investment Product & Advisory.
• Formulate data-driven strategies to accelerate investment product penetration and portfolio revenue.
• Design and deliver data solutions to drive revenue, productivity, and risk monitoring.
• Lead and deploy Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions for investment, such as Advisory Co-pilot and Automated Sales Surveillance.
• Partner with Product Heads and Advisory Sales Heads to align data priorities with business goals.
• Ensure data operations, AI models, and regulatory reporting follow governance and risk frameworks.
• Translate quantitative insights into clear narratives for executives and seniors.
• Champion adoption of analytics tools, AI capabilities, and cloud architecture within analytics ecosystems.
