Job summary

DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a dedicated professional for Wealth Management Operations to support customer account opening and onboarding, supervise daily client onboarding and static data maintenance, and drive change initiatives to enhance efficiency and controls.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, knowledge of SFC/HKMA/FATCA/CRS reporting, and leadership to guide the SDA team through document review and data updates. Regular schedule, full-time employment in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Support customer account opening and onboarding under Hong Kong Wealth Management Operations to ensure processing and reporting are completed within pre-defined cutoff times, with timely escalation for irregular cases.
• Supervise daily operations in client onboarding and static data maintenance, handle exceptional or contingency situations, and provide guidance on complex, non-standard exception-based processing.
• Understand current operation flows and work with stakeholders to influence and lead wealth management business-related initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of operational risks and controls backed by solid market operation knowledge.
• Support regional processing and related service level agreement discussions, shaping an effective operating model.
• Lead and implement change initiatives and projects regarding systems and processing procedures, considering operational flows, markets, regulations, and control requirements.
• Liaise with business partners on user requirements, participate in UAT status to meet timelines, and drive project progress updates and presentations.
• Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to review Wealth Management Operations service concerns, systems, and service levels.
• Apply analytical views to review operation flows and incidents with root cause analysis and deliver end-to-end processes.
• Review and update SOPs regularly to ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations.
• Manage the SDA team to support client onboarding in document review, static data update, and maintenance.
• Provide account servicing support, including holdmail and return mail handling, PI renewal, and related servicing and reporting.
• Handle regulatory reports such as SFC, HKMA annual returns, FATCA, and CRS.
• Strengthen risk and control mindset within the team and promote risk-awareness.
• Handle internal and external audits, including SFC and HKMA inspections.
• Manage the team to meet MTK targets and drive people management and development for efficiency.
• Work with partners on new business, product, and service implementations.
• Coordinate with auditors and risk managers for annual audits and risk assessment reviews.
