Job summary

CPJobs International is seeking a Vessel Planning professional in Hong Kong to coordinate with shipping lines and internal teams for efficient vessel operations. You will manage stowage and cargo planning, ensuring safe departure with accurate plans and liaising with the Master of Vessel on arrival and departure.

The ideal candidate has a related degree or diploma with relevant experience; SAP and NAVIS familiarity is a plus, and outdoor shift work may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related discipline with 1 year of experience, or Diploma with 4 years of experience, or Form 5+ with 6 years of experience.
• Experience in ship-planning and terminal operations is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS applications; SAP & NAVIS experience preferred for ship-planning function.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with shipping lines and internal parties to plan for vessel operations.
• Handle all documents and inquiries related to stowage and cargo planning.
• Ensure vessel departure with seaworthy and safe conditions by precise vessel stowage plans.
• Liaise with Chief officer / Master of Vessel on arrival/departure for ship operations.
• Solve stowage-related problems and provide professional solutions.
