Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Valuer to conduct property valuations and advisory assignments across Greater China. You will prepare valuation reports for IPOs, M&A, and other business purposes, while offering market insights and valuation advice to clients.

Job description

As a Valuer, you will be responsible for conducting property valuations and real estate advisory assignments across Greater China. You will prepare valuation reports for IPOs, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financial reporting, and other business purposes, while providing market insights and valuation advice to clients. The role involves managing valuation projects, liaising with clients and professional parties, performing property market research and feasibility studies, and supporting business development initiatives. This position offers excellent exposure to diverse asset classes, capital market transactions, and the dynamic real estate markets in Hong Kong and Mainland China.

What will be your exposure?

• Conduct valuations of properties in Greater China, preparing valuation reports for purposes of IPO, M&A transactions, and other general market study assignments.
• Lead and coordinate valuation projects by liaising with internal and external parties, including clients, auditors, and independent financial advisors, to meet tight project timelines.
• Provide feasibility study and advisory services in all aspects of valuations.
• Support business development activities, including PowerPoint presentations and pitching materials/proposal preparation.
• Manipulate the in-house database and conduct property market analysis.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Real Estate, or other related disciplines.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in property valuation in Hong Kong or China.
• Independent, well-organized, self-motivated, and responsible.
• Attentive to detail with the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong numerical sense with excellent analytical and presentation skills.
• Good command of English and Chinese, with fluent Putonghua speaking being essential.
• Outstanding fresh graduates are also welcome to apply and may be considered as Assistant Valuer.
