Job summary

EBC Tech Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a dynamic Transformation Consultant to lead business diagnosis, process mapping, and operating model improvements. You will interview stakeholders, design to-be processes, and craft actionable presentations for management.

The role also focuses on AI enablement and automation, translating business problems into practical AI-enabled solutions, prototyping use cases, and coordinating cross-functional workstreams.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in management/technology consulting or digital transformation.
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in business process analysis and operating model improvement.
• Good understanding of IT systems, data flows, system integration and AI technologies.
• Exposure to generative AI, AI applications, or workflow automation.
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills with clear communication of complex findings.
• High learning agility and hands-on working style.
• Strong English communication skills; Mandarin is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business interviews, operational diagnostics, and process analysis across functions.
• Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for simplification, standardization, and automation.
• Support As-Is / To-Be process design, operating model improvement, and SOP development.
• Develop structured analyses, recommendations, and management presentations.
• Identify AI use cases and automation opportunities across business functions.
• Translate business problems into practical AI-enabled solutions.
• Evaluate and experiment with AI tools, automation platforms, and emerging technologies.
• Build lightweight prototypes or proofs-of-concept where feasible.
• Work with IT, Data, and AI teams to evaluate feasibility and implement selected use cases.
• Support AI adoption and integration into day-to-day business workflows.
• Support the overall coordination of transformation workstreams.
• Track key deliverables, decisions, and dependencies.
• Prepare updates and materials for management discussions.

• Develop structured analyses, recommendations, and management presentations.

AI Enablement & Technology Solutions (~40%)

• Identify AI use cases and automation opportunities across business functions.
• Translate business problems into practical AI-enabled solutions.
• Evaluate and experiment with AI tools, automation platforms, and emerging technologies.
• Build lightweight prototypes or proof-of-concepts where feasible.
• Work with IT, Data, and AI technical teams to evaluate feasibility and implement selected use cases.
• Support AI adoption and integration into day-to-day business workflows.

Transformation Coordination (~20%)

• Support the overall coordination of transformation workstreams.
• Track key deliverables, decisions, and dependencies.
• Prepare updates and materials for management discussions.

• 3–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in management consulting, technology consulting, or digital transformation.
• Strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and business diagnostic capabilities.
• Experience in business process analysis, operating model improvement, or transformation projects.
• Good understanding of IT systems, data flows, system integration, and emerging AI technologies.
• Practical exposure to generative AI, AI applications, or workflow automation.
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, with the ability to communicate complex findings clearly.
• High learning agility, intellectual curiosity, and a hands-on working style.
• Strong English communication skills; Mandarin is highly desirable.

Highly Preferred

• Background in Deloitte, Accenture, PwC, EY, or similar consulting firms, particularly Technology Consulting, Digital Transformation, or Operations Transformation.
• Educational background in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Experience with AI and automation tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, n8n, Make, or similar platforms.
• Experience building or implementing AI-enabled workflows, automation solutions, or proofs of concept.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, Python, or enterprise system integration.
• Financial services or fintech exposure would be a plus, but is not essential.
