Job summary

Tribus in Hong Kong is seeking a DevOps Engineer for trading technology to join a high-performance engineering environment.

You will build and improve CI/CD pipelines, deploy tooling, design self-service platforms and automate infrastructure across hybrid on‑premise and cloud setups.

Work closely with software engineers to move applications from development into production, raise observability, and establish engineering standards across teams.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and scripting skills.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Strong cloud infrastructure experience, ideally AWS.
• Terraform / OpenTofu / Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong understanding of Linux, with Windows exposure beneficial.
• Experience building or operating mature CI/CD environments.
• Git and modern software development workflows.
• Monitoring/observability experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch or Splunk.
• An engineering mindset focused on automation, reliability and eliminating repetitive operational work.
• Exposure to C/C++, Make or CMake would be beneficial but isn't essential.

Responsibilities

• Building and improving CI/CD pipelines, release processes and deployment tooling.
• Designing self-service platforms and developer tooling that improve engineering productivity.
• Automating infrastructure, deployments, upgrades and migrations.
• Working across hybrid infrastructure – on-premise and cloud.
• Building internal tools, APIs and integrations.
• Improving monitoring, alerting, observability and operational readiness.
• Partnering closely with software engineers to improve how applications move from development into production.
• Helping establish engineering standards and best practices across teams.
