Job summary

BAH Partners is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their Hong Kong technology team. You will build and automate platform infrastructure, streamline CI/CD processes, and manage deployments across hybrid on-premise and AWS environments.

You will collaborate with software engineering, trading platform, and market access teams to improve production readiness, automation, and observability while shaping DevOps standards across engineering groups.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience operating hybrid infra across on-prem and AWS.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience, ideally AWS EKS.
• Strong AWS knowledge: EC2, VPC/networking, load balancing.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or OpenTofu).
• Solid Python fundamentals and scripting abilities.
• Experience with Git and mature CI/CD environments.
• Strong automation, problem-solving mindset and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and build platform infrastructure and development tooling.
• Build, automate and improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Manage deployments across hybrid on-premise and AWS environments.
• Work with Kubernetes, ideally AWS EKS.
• Create self-service tooling, APIs and automation to reduce ops load.
• Partner with software engineers to improve production readiness.
• Improve monitoring, alerting and observability.
• Help establish DevOps standards and best practices across teams.
