Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Linux environment.
• Proficiency in shell scripting, Python, and SQL.
• Knowledge of FIX Protocol.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Address technical trading issues autonomously and escalate to SMEs or vendors when needed.
• Collaborate with fellow technical support engineers to expedite customer solutions.
• Cultivate relationships with trading groups and global counterparts for seamless coverage.
• Communicate trading infrastructure and platform status updates to trading staff, including exchange notifications.
• Enhance environment management tools to minimize risk and improve efficiency.
• Aid in automating processes to optimize trade support operations.
• Document and curate a knowledge base of trading challenges and solutions.
• Deploy, support, and monitor internal trading systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal owners to ensure correct installation, configuration, and testing of trading platforms.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to prioritize tool enhancements and software/version releases.
