Job summary

Luxoft in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Trader Support professional to join a global team. You will manage readiness of trading and risk platforms, monitor end-to-end transaction flow, and quickly resolve alerts to prevent trade impact.

You will communicate with portfolio managers, traders, and operations, supporting changes and automation efforts. A strong grasp of FIX, databases, and trade lifecycle is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of application support experience.
• Comfortable with Client/server architecture, Linux OS, AWS and knowledge of Kafka messaging / docker containerization.
• Proficiency with Bash; Python or Perl would be beneficial.
• Detailed knowledge of FIX protocol.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, MS SQL).
• Good knowledge of trade flow, asset classes and trade life cycle.
• Understanding of PnL calculation inputs would be beneficial but not required.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive attitude.
• Strong verbal/written communication with brokers, exchanges, senior management.

Responsibilities

• Manage trading and risk platform readiness from pre-trading to post-trade and reconciliation.
• Monitor and support end-to-end transaction flow across the trading platform.
• Identify, analyze and correct alerts and issues, or escalate to minimize impact.
• Incident management: communicate incidents and outages to stakeholders and PMs; create PM reports.
• Problem tracking and resolution of problematic issues.
• Communicate with Investment management, Portfolio managers, Operations, Development, Compliance and Infrastructure.
• Support scheduled changes with Development teams.
• Oversee automated processes, scheduling, alerting and reporting.
• Handle user requests: track, review approvals, resolve to closure.
• Identify inefficiencies and drive automation and improved workflows.
