Job summary

The Adecco Group, on behalf of a global bank, seeks a Trading Application Support to cover APAC markets with a focus on Equities & Derivatives trading applications on Linux. You will assist traders, diagnose issues in production, and coordinate with local and overseas development teams.

2 years of trading support and Python scripting in Linux/Windows are required, along with knowledge of cash and derivatives products and ITIL processes.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of trading support experience.
• Proficiency with Python in Linux/Windows environments.
• University qualification with IT major.
• Good business knowledge on cash and derivatives products and market rules.
• Experience with system monitoring.
• Good technical / scripting knowledge on Linux/Unix environments.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the trading applications of Equities & Derivatives Trading/Pricing on APAC markets in Linux platform.
• Support traders, troubleshoot and diagnose functional and technical issues in production.
• Management and tracking of daily production problems and user requests; communicate to client and development teams.
• Handle business-driven or exchange-driven projects.
• Conduct system QA testing and perform deployment or upgrades of mission critical trading applications and systems.
• Ensure adequate performance and operation of the systems; monitor, diagnose and address problems.
• Follow ITIL Application Support methodologies for incident escalation and change management.
• Provide system and process documentation.
• Morning/Lunch shift duty, weekend and holiday work as per rotation.
