Job summary

MIGSO-PCUBED is seeking a Trading Applications Support Specialist to maintain and troubleshoot equities and derivatives trading and pricing platforms across APAC markets on Linux.

We require hands-on Linux/Unix experience, Python in Linux/Windows, and solid knowledge of cash and derivatives products. You will assist traders, manage incidents, and participate in QA and deployments with global teams.

Qualifications

• University qualification with IT major.
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in trading support.
• Good business knowledge on cash and derivatives products.
• Experience with system monitoring.
• Proficiency with Python in Linux and Windows environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to work shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the trading applications of Equities & Derivatives Trading/Pricing on APAC markets in Linux platform.
• Support traders, troubleshoot and diagnose issues in production environment.
• Manage daily production problems and report bugs to development teams.
• Handle business-driven or exchange-driven projects.
• Conduct QA testing and deployments of mission-critical trading applications.
• Ensure system performance and operation; address problems proactively.
• Follow ITIL incident escalation and change management procedures.
• Provide system and process documentation.
• Morning / Lunch shift duty, weekend and holiday work per rotation.

Job description

• Be responsible for the trading applications of Equities & Derivatives Trading/Pricing (Stocks, ETF, Warrants, Options & Futures) on various APAC markets in Linux platform
• Required to support traders, troubleshoot and diagnose functional and technical issues in the production environment
• Management and tracking of daily production problems and user request; ensure effective and timely resolution and communication to the client; report bugs back to local / overseas development teams.
• Be responsible for handling business-driven or exchange-driven projects
• Conduct system Quality Assurance testing, perform deployment or upgrade of mission critical trading applications and systems.
• Ensure adequate performance and operation of the systems - monitor the performance ⁄ operation, diagnose and address any problems.
• Follow ITIL Application Support methodology to carry out incident escalation and system change management procedures.
• Provide system and process documentation
• Morning / Lunch shift duty, weekend and holiday work are required as per rotation.
