Job summary

Charterhouse Partnership Asia, on behalf of a well-established international banking institution in Hong Kong, seeks a Trade Services professional to join its Operations team. You will handle end-to-end processing of import/export letters of credit, amendments, bills, trade loans, and related trade finance activities.

The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance with UCP600/URC522/ISBP/ISP98/URDG758, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Trade Finance Operations, Trade Services, or Documentary Trade within the banking sector.
• Hands-on exposure to Import & Export L/Cs, documentary collections, trade loans, guarantees, and related trade products.
• Familiarity with international trade rules and practices (UCP600, URC522, ISBP, ISP98, URDG758).

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end processing and checking of trade finance transactions (Import/Export LCs, amendments, bills, trade loans, banker's acceptances).
• Ensure transactions comply with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review management reports, customer outstanding reports, and MIS reports.
• Participate in trade systems projects, including UAT, enhancements, and process improvements.
• Provide guidance to junior team members on processing, products, and system usage.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Compliance, and Business teams to support efficiency.
