Job summary

Intertek Greater China seeks a detail‑oriented textile QA reviewer to verify test reports for accuracy, data interpretation, and proper formatting in line with standards and internal procedures.

You will respond to client inquiries, provide guidance on testing outcomes, and liaise with lab teams to ensure correct data reporting and accreditation compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Textile Engineering, Materials Science, Fashion & Textile Technology, or related discipline.
• 1–5 years of experience in textile testing, report review, or lab roles.
• Knowledge of textile materials, testing standards, and test methods.
• Experience reviewing technical reports or issuing lab reports is an advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review textile test reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify test data, calculations, and interpretations.
• Address clients’ technical inquiries related to reports.
• Provide clear technical explanations on textile testing outcomes.
• Coordinate with lab teams to clarify results and ensure data reporting.
• Ensure reports comply with accreditation and company standards (ISO/IEC 17025).
• Identify and escalate report errors or inconsistencies.
• Work hours during peak/non-peak seasons as specified.

The Job

• Review textile test reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and technical correctness before release to clients


• Verify test data, calculations, results interpretation, and report formatting in accordance with relevant standards, test methods, and internal procedures


• Handle and respond to clients’ technical enquiries related to test reports, results interpretation, and testing methodologies


• Provide clear technical explanations and professional guidance to clients on textile testing outcomes


• Liaise with laboratory teams to clarify test results, resolve discrepancies, and ensure correct data reporting


• Ensure issued reports comply with accreditation requirements (e.g. ISO/IEC 17025) and company quality standards


• Identify potential report errors or inconsistencies and initiate corrective actions where necessary


• Working hours: Peak Season - 13:00-21:00 (Mon-Fri) & 11:00-15:00 (Sat) or Non-Peak Season - 12:00-21:00 (Mon-Fri)

The Person

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Textile Engineering, Materials Science, Fashion & Textile Technology, or related disciplines


• 1–5 years of experience in textile testing, report review, or laboratory-related roles


• Sound knowledge of textile materials, testing standards, and test methods (e.g. physical, chemical, performance testing)


• Experience in reviewing technical reports or issuing laboratory test reports is an advantage


• Good command of written and spoken English (additional languages are an advantage)


• Self‑motivated, well organized, and able to work under deadlines
