Job summary

Intertek Greater China is seeking a test engineer to perform tests and evaluations on electrical/electronic consumer products in our Lai Chi Kok / Fo Tan facilities. You will prepare reports and provide technical support to customers, with on‑the‑job training available based on experience.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical fields and 1–2 years' relevant background, with strong English and Mandarin communication, and a conscientious analytical mindset.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical / Applied Physics or equivalent.
1-2 years' relevant experience in manufacturing or testing preferred.
Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.
Conscientious with analytical mindset and committed to test engineering.
Fresh graduates and IANG will also be considered.

Responsibilities

Perform tests and/or evaluation for electrical/electronic products per standards.
Safeguard quality on home appliances, consumer electronics, power supply, telecom & lighting.
Prepare test reports and related technical documents.
Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
Review reports and technical documents (training provided as needed).
Working location: Lai Chi Kok / Fo Tan.

Perform tests and/or constructional evaluation for various electrical/electronic consumer products according to National / International Standard / Requirements
Safeguard quality on products like home appliances, home entertainment electronics, power supply, telecommunications & lighting devices, etc
Prepare test reports and relevant technical documents
Provide technical support to internal / external customers
Review reports and technical documents (on-the‑job training will be provided according to candidate’s experience)
Working location: Lai Chi Kok / Fo Tan

The Person

Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical / Applied Physics or any relevant / equivalent level
1-2 years' relevant experience in manufacturing or testing field is preferred
Excellent communication skills and good command of English & Mandarin
Conscientious with analytical mind, initiated and committed to test engineering career
Candidate with more experience will be considered as Engineer
Fresh graduate and IANG will also be considered
