Job summary

Intertek Greater China is seeking a detail-oriented professional for textile and chemical testing support. You will provide technical guidance to internal teams, prepare test plans and review protocols, and coordinate between leading fashion & retail brands and our testing labs.

The role requires strong English/Chinese communication, solid interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple inquiries with a solutions-driven approach. Immediate availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree / Higher Diploma holder in Fashion & Textile, Analytical Sciences for Testing and Certification or Chemistry related discipline.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Immediate availability is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional advice and appropriate technical support to internal parties in order to achieve a high level of client satisfaction
• Prepare and consolidate test plan, review protocol, test standards and requirements
• Analyze client menu and follow up the whole process with internal co-partners (e.g. physical Lab, chemical Lab and post-lab)
• Deliver customer services by acting as the coordinator between our clients of world top brands of fashion & retails and internal technical colleagues
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone calls, emails, live chats, social media, or face-to-face interactions.
• Take complete ownership of customer issues, diagnose root causes, and provide fast, effective solutions.
• Make sure to assign correct test items during job creation
• Technical support including general textile testing and chemical testing
