Job summary

Intertek Greater China seeks a seasoned quality assurance professional to support accessories testing and protocol development. You will work with global SMEs and technical teams to maintain testing standards and ensure robust product assessments.

This role requires a bachelor degree in relevant fields, at least 5 years in product testing or QA, and strong English communication for coordinating with vendors and stakeholders across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the specified fields.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in product testing, materials or quality assurance.
• Experience with retailers or brands, ideally in accessories or hardlines product quality management.
• Fluent in English with strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Work with the technical team to maintain and update accessories performance test protocols and documentation
• Collaborate with global SMEs on protocol development and complex product assessments
• Participate in product reviews, develop test plans and identify construction and material risks during product reviews at development stage
• Review the failed material and product test results and recommend disposition; communicate technical findings to vendors and review the Root Cause Analysis (RCA)s and CAPAs submitted by the vendors
• Coordinate with labs to ensure consistent protocol execution and support escalations
• Monitor recurring quality issues, analyze trends, and escalate when needed
• Deliver vendor training on protocols, updates, and program requirements
• Align with Intertek’s governance model and client’s program expectations
• Drive program consistency and continuous improvement

The Person

• Bachelor’s degree in Material Science, Engineering, Quality Management, Chemistry or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in product testing, materials or quality assurance
• Prior experience working with retailers or brands, ideally in accessories or hardlines product quality management
• Strong technical background with the ability to provide technical advice and support to the client and vendors
• Proven program management skills, with the ability to collaborate across regions and engage technical experts
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and documentation abilities
• Fluent in English with good communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills
