Job summary

Inspire seeks a QA Test Lead to own the end-to-end quality lifecycle for our core insurance platforms and digital products.

You will drive test strategies, lead onshore and offshore teams, and champion automation while partnering with Product Owners and Engineering to deliver secure, regulatory-compliant software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing experience.
• 2+ years leading or supervising QA teams.
• Background in Financial Services or Fintech with core insurance workflow knowledge.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is highly valued.
• Hands-on exposure to automation frameworks.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum in hybrid development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test strategies, master test plans, and test cases aligned to complex business logic.
• Champion test automation to improve release efficiency and reduce regression bottlenecks.
• Perform root-cause analysis and deliver high-impact quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and coordinate onshore and offshore testing squads; resolve blockers.
• Partner with Product Owners, BAs, and Developers to ensure accurate requirements.
• Ensure production-bound releases comply with financial services regulations and security standards.

Job description

We are seeking a high-performing QA Test Lead to drive the end-to-end quality assurance lifecycle for our core insurance platforms and digital products. In this role, you will be testing strategies, manage dynamic onshore/offshore teams, and spearhead the shift toward automation. You will partner closely with Product Owners and Engineering to deliver secure and regulatory-compliant software.

Key Responsibility

• Test Engineering: Design and execute comprehensive test strategies, master test plans, and test cases mapped to fit complex business logic
• Automation Engineering: Omptimise software release efficiency and velocity by championing advanced test automation frameworks and reducing regression test bottlenecks
• Defect Lifecycle Management: Perform root-cause analysis and deliver high-impact quality metrics to stakeholders
• Team leadership: Lead, mentor and orchestrate onshore and offshore testing squads while resolving daily blockers
• Cross-functional Alignment: Partner with product owner, Business Analyst, and Developers to ensure flawless requirements
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all production-bound releases stringently adhere to financial services regulations and intern security standards

Requirements

• 5+ years of software testing experience, including 2+ years leading or supervising QA teams
• QA background within Financial Services or Fintech, with knowledge of Core Insurance workflow
• Native or professional fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin capability is highly valued
• Hands-on exposure to automation framework
• solid experience navigating Agile/ Scrum sprints and hybrid development structures
