Job summary

Cybershark Limited is seeking a QA Engineering Lead to guide a small team of testers, improve testing processes, and ensure robust quality across products.

You will build automation tools, partner with developers, plan for risk early, and tackle tough debugging with a focus on root-cause analysis. English, Cantonese and Mandarin language skills are required.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in software testing and development.
• Experience leading a small team or guiding other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated testing tools and systems.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure testability of software.

• Help the team grow: Guide, support, and help a small group of tech testers improve their skills.
• Check the work: Look over team code and set clear rules for good work.
• Build testing tools: Set up and take care of the systems used to test software automatically.
• Work together: Partner with the developers to make sure software is easy to check.
• Try new tools: Figure out how to use new tech and smart software to make testing faster.
• Test tricky features: Find smart ways to test advanced software features that give varying results.
• Plan ahead: Look at feature requests early to find risks and stop bugs before customers see them.
• Fix tough problems: Step in to help solve the hardest technical issues when the team gets stuck.
• Find the root cause: Track down and recreate major software glitches alongside the engineering team.
• Keep things updated: Check the system after updates and keep testing tools fresh.

What we need:

• Background: At least 4 years of experience working in software testing and development.
• Leadership: Past experience running a small team or acting as a main guide for other tech workers.
• Languages needed: English, Cantonese & Mandarin
