Job summary

HKBN is hiring a Technical Support Executive - Voice Network to monitor systems and provide frontline support in the Data Center, ensuring smooth provisioning and fault handling for the voice network.

The role requires 7x24 shift availability, a Diploma or higher in Computer Networking / Telecommunications, and basic Linux knowledge. You will collaborate with multiple teams and assist engineers in operations, testing, and implementation.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work 7x24 shift.
• Diploma or above in networking/telecom or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Linux command line and shell scripting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor systems and perform health checks; provide frontline technical support in Data Center.
• Handle routine voice service provisioning, trouble tickets, fault reporting and quality control for voice network.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for incident/problem management on connectivity services.
• Draft and execute test plans; support user acceptance testing and system implementation.
• Assist Network Engineers with general voice network operations.

About the Role...

About You...

• 7x24 shift duty is required
• DSE above with 1 year relevant experience
• Holder of Diploma or above in Computer Networking / Telecommunications or related disciplines without relevant experience will also be considered
• Basic knowledge in LINUX command and shell script is preferred
• Enthusiastic, good interpersonal skill and be a good team player
• Able to work independently and under pressure
