Job summary

Sony Corporation in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Technical Support Engineer / Technical Support Engineer to oversee after-sales service, provide technical support for TV displays, Home AV and Digital Imaging products, and drive quality improvement initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in electronics or related fields, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Cantonese and English fluency are required with Mandarin as a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher diploma in Electronic, Electrical, Computer Engineering or related fields.
• Experience in Technical Support, Service Engineering, Quality analysis or After-Sales Service.
• Knowledge of electronics, troubleshooting and quality management.
• Proficiency with Excel, Access and Power BI is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, customer-oriented and able to work independently.
• Fluent in Cantonese and English; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Passionate about Sony TV, Audio/Video and Digital Imaging products with strong technical knowledge and a drive to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage after-sales repair service providers and service KPIs.
• Provide technical support for TV Display, Home AV, and Digital Imaging products.
• Support B2B projects, technical solutions/rework and product quality improvement.
• Analyze service and quality data using Excel, Access and Power BI.
• Conduct technical training for service partners and frontline staff, B2B customers.
• Liaise with local authority EMSD, OFCA and manufacturer on product compliance matters.
