Job summary

ASIA AIRFREIGHT TERMINAL CO LTD. AAT is seeking a seasoned Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineer to oversee 24/7 operations. The role acts as the emergency contact on site and leads a shift team of in-house engineers and subcontractors.

You will manage maintenance, MHS, GSE and other equipment under the Technical Services Department, participate in projects as leader or team member, and contribute to a safe, efficient facility with strong leadership and communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or related disciplines.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a managerial role with heavy machinery or industrial equipment.
• Solid experience in subcontractor and project management.
• Experience in managing shift engineers is advantageous.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, PLC and related codes is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; project experience preferred.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English; strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure; analytical mindset.

Job description

Manage and support a shift team of in-house engineers and subcontractor technicians/engineers

Oversee operations, maintenance issue and technical support of MHS, GSE and all other equipment/facility under Technical Services Department's management

Participate into assigned projects as a project Leader and/or project team member

Requirements

• Degree holder of Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or related disciplines
• At least 6 years relevant working experience, of which 1 year in managerial role with exposure to heavy machinery or automotive equipment or industrial equipment
• Solid experience in subcontractor and project management
• Experience in managing shift engineers will be an advantage
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, PLC and related code and regulation is a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and project & AutoCAD
• Fluent in Mandarin and English
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skill and management skill
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Self-motivated, strong problem-solving capability with good sense of critical thinking and analytical mind
