Job summary

The V Group is seeking a Technical Manager for residential property to oversee day-to-day facility management and lead technical operations across prime residential areas in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities include managing takeovers, coordinating repairs, supervising contracts, budgeting for R&M, and ensuring compliance with laws and SOPs. Strong leadership and English/Chinese communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Services/Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
• Registered Electrical Worker Certificate Grade B or above is required (preferred).
• 8+ years of solid experience in property/facility management, with at least 3 years at managerial level.
• Familiar with ISO9001, 14001 & H&S standards and ordinances.
• Experience with residential properties and contract administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management and execution of facility management duties
• Render full support to all technical matters in relation to the property’s takeover/handover
• Act as a technical in-charge for daily operation relating to repair and maintenance including attending to emergency repair and other relevant emergency issues
• Manage relevant procurement and technical contracts and monitor service quality of relevant service contractors
• Budget preparation and cost control on all R&M expenses

Requirements

• Degree in Building Services/Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
• Holder of Registered Electrical Worker Certificate Grade B or above is required and member of CIBSE or HKIE or equivalent is preferred
• At least 8 years of solid experience in property/facility management of which minimum 3 years at managerial level, best with high-end residential properties
• Well-versed with relevant ordinances and ISO9001, 14001 & H&S implementation
• Knowledge of best practice in residential and technical facility management including contract administration, E&M operation, R&M & emergency repair, fit-out work control or consultancy services, etc.
• Experience in pre-management and handover of residential properties an advantage
• Strong leadership and organizational skills and able to work under pressure
• Positive and pro-active, service-oriented with excellent customer and problem solving skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Hands-on PC skills including MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Applicant with less experience will be considered for Assistant Technical Manager position
